CHASE & IHG "BEHIND THE SCENES"
WITH LITTLE BIG TOWN
Chase asked us to develop ideas that could reward their IHG/CHASE cardholders with a memorable experience. On the surface this project was less about design and more about the experiential idea. We knew the looks for both Chase and IHG were governed by each others style guides, so that only meant the idea better be good. So I came up the idea to piggy back on the success and popularity recently of Little Big Town. They just won the 2017 CMA Best Group Video Award, have a winery, and are natives to the trendy and popular destination of Nashville. Plus, the Ryman Auditorium just made LBT the firsts residents of the Mother Church (Grand Ole Opry). It immediately felt like a great fit with the IHG and Chase brands. And they agreed. The idea revolved entirely around the exclusive event. The Event would be held at the Ryman Auditorium for a one night Q&A and Performance by Little Big Town to 100 IHG/Chase cardholder guests. The guests were also treated to a private tour of the Ryman where wine and appetizers were served before the show. And the party didn't end there, the guests where then surprised when they were told 3 major country musicians/songwriters were waiting for them at the George Jones Museum where the food and wine kept flowing.
